Wow! What a crazy week. I started an amazing new job on Monday and was awarded VMware vExpert 2019 on Thursday! This is my third consecutive year in this awesome program and I couldn’t be more thankful. Once again I’m humbled and honored to be a part of the 2019 class. I’ve said this before but I don’t get to post as often as I’d like or even about some of the things I’d like to with my personal time constraints. Given that, I’m so thankful to be recognized for what I am able to contribute to the community.
There are many perks from being a VMware vExpert as I’ve mentioned before. I get free VMware licensing for almost all of their products. I get many manufacturer NFRs, freebies and other benefits including private events, NDA product demos, and much more. All for just contributing to the community and sharing my knowledge about VMware and VMware partners products and services in some cases. I even got to meet Pat Gelsinger (VMware CEO) and Corey Romero (VMware Community & Advocacy Manager) and many others from the community who are all absolute rockstars! It’s been a whirlwind week for sure. My focus has changed a bit in my new position and I’m now dedicated to selling the best storage on the planet, HPE Nimble Storage. That being said I will probably be including some articles on HPE products and services but I will also continue evangelizing VMware products because the two combined really make each other shine. It’s also pretty easy to talk, blog and advocate for products when you can truly stand behind them without compromising yourself.
I continue to enjoy blogging when my personal obligations allow it and I appreciate everyone that’s been keeping up with the blog this year. You are why I continue to do this. Thank you so much for reading and all the feedback I’ve gotten has been amazing. Thanks for reading!
